Follow-up Comment #2, bug #13183 (project gnustep):

Strangely, if you build it inside of the Instance directory, it can be built
somehow.

Although the patch fails in two files, bundles.make and Libaries.make, it was
successful to build the gnustep-base, after patching the source code
manually.
