Follow-up Comment #1, patch #5014 (project gnustep):
I was wrong about the PropertyNotify from XSetWMName().
XSetWMName() indeed posts a PropertyNotify.
But it is still nice to support the newer _NET_WM_NAME and _NET_WM_ICON_NAME.
