Follow-up Comment #1:
I have to admit that things are even worse than you think. GNUstep D&D was
never compatible with XDND and never actually worked. Our idea to have the
gpbs deamon handling the D&D via a pasteboard does not fit the XDND concept
of data exchange.
What needs to be done is to move the D&D code from the xpbs.m file to
XGServerEvent and of course to update to a more current XDND version.
Currently there are no plans to implement this. Volunteers are welcome.
