Thanks for coming back on this! :-)
Not sure what changed -- can't see any obvious change affecting
BUNDLE_INSTALL_DIR -- it must have been fixed by some change since then
though :-)
... anyway the important thing is that it works now, so I'll simply close the
bug. :-)
