Follow-up Comment #1, bug #18081 (project gnustep):
This problem isn't "deeply rooted." It is, in fact, a known issue to me..
and one I've been meaning to address.
The "issue" is that Gorm handles Windowless Views differently from IB.
Currently, IB does not allow you to create an NSBox, like in your example.
To do this in IB, you would need to add a custom view to the objects view and
switch it to an "NSBox" class in the "custom class" inspector.
Gorm works slightly differently. I've been meaning to add the capability to
Gorm to do it the way IB does (as well as preserving the way it does it
today).
As for "strange behavior" when working with this file in native format, could
you be more specific in your description, as I'm not quite certain what
"strange behavior" you're referring to.
