Follow-up Comment #3:
I added calls to GetGlyphIndices() in a couple of places ... should serve to
get advancement and bounding rect information as long as an NSGlyph is a
unichar and a microsoft glyph corresponding to the unichar exists.
I'm provisionally marking this as 'fixed' since it looks as good a fix as we
can do without someone revisiting the whole text system in the gui as well as
the backends.
