Follow-up Comment #1, bug #19764 (project gnustep):
Have you tried a "make clean" before a new make and install in the said
applications? I had a very similar problem just after release, with no
application starting even if recompiled and a reinstall of the whole core and
the application with each a "clean" solved it for me. Some instability remains
but it is not a diffuse problem anymore.
