First, thank you for testing cairo!
Nicolas has done a few more changes to the cairo code, so please give it
another try. Your X server doesn't support 32 bits, in that case it should
fall back to the old code and use a 24 bits visual. If the problem persits,
could you please try to add some debug output to bestContext() in context.c
(subdirectory x11)?
