Follow-up Comment #4, bug #21200 (project gnustep):
I've just tried the latest svn code on my machine (both in 64bit and 32bit
mode) with cairo backend (I've been using the art backend for the last few
months).
I'm using debian unstable, which has libcairo2-dev version 1.4.10 and I get
the out of memory errors from cairo as well as X-Windows errors: 'BadMatch
(invalid parameter attributes)'
What I see is a white square where the appicon should be, and a white
rectangle where the app menu should be.
