I changed this method to take the depth value from the window device. This is
what should have happend in the first place and what Nicolas and I had agreed
on during Alpenstep.
No idea why it ever was implemented differently.
The whole concept of the depth_info seems a bit strange to me. The values
that get used there in art don't match my concept of window depth.
Please give the new code a try and report back.
