I am installing with gnustep-startup-0.19.2.
I have installed all the dependancies required on Ubuntu. Roughly
following the list quoted here, (http://gnustep.blogspot.com/2005/12/gnustep-on-ubuntuppc.html
). But I would apt-get the required packages according to the
messages printed from gnustep-startup. For example, Ubutnu Gusty
doesn't come with the X11 headers and/or libraries. So I installed
every x11 packages I could find (a little overkill I know :o) )
Now,
*** checking system for installation issues ***
phase passes the check for the X headers and libraries successfully,
but when it comes to the
*** build GNUstep Back ***
phase, it halts with,
configure: error: No X11 libraries/headers for building x11 server
Any ideas on how to clear this up?
