Follow-up Comment #1:
After using the "kludge" Gregory still found problems when printing his
testfile, I identified them as being only related to images and text-only
files printed instead correctly. Subsequently Gregory made images printing
correct.
Thus with the "kludge" RTF and RTFD documents print pretty decently. Finding
a good solution for the kludge would mean get printing to a good level for the
coming release.
