Interesting. I installed it the same as on solaris, linux, freebsd, openbsd.
In a user-writeable directory and then I don-t even start it, the application
starts it as needed.
On NetBSD it indeed appears that gdomap -f fails, while sudo gdomap -f
doesn't retun (thus I assume it is working). Why is it so different than any
other system? I don't think it used to be and I have both v2 and v4 of
netbsd.
Now on NetBSD/sparc32 SMP with netbsd 2, FTP indeed works.
With the same procedure but on x86 v4.0, gdomap with sudo appears to run, but
I get the following error on FTP run:
2008-08-02 00:10:16.329 FTP[1439] Problem posting notification: <NSException:
0x8537ae8> NAME:NSInternalInconsistencyException REASON:Unable to detach
thread (last error Undefined error: 0) INFO:(nil)
