Hi,
I recently stumbled upon the following problem, which probably needs some
attention:
Since rev 26959 the -initWithCoder method of NSWindowController calls the
-versionForClassName method of the coder. This approach fails if the coder is
a NSKeyedUnarchiver, which doesn't implement the -versionForClassName method.
Since NSCoder declares this method a subclassResponsibility, decoding nibs can
sometimes raise an exception. As is the case with the MainMenu.nib of the
StepChat application from the Étoilé project
(http://svn.gna.org/svn/etoile/trunk/Etoile/Services/User/Jabber/English.lproj/MainMenu.nib).
