Follow-up Comment #1:
You would get the warning message if it can't install (it assumes that being
unable to install means that permissions are preventing it and it must be on a
unix system without root permissions). So I would try checking where you are
trying to install it ... perhaps you have some access control issues or have
misconfigured installation information.
