Follow-up Comment #2, bug #24984 (project gnustep):
yes, apparently the behaviour is a bit different on the mac, where a
textfield can wrap or scroll (but in the case of a single line, the behaviour
is pretty similar, do check if you can).
I guess it is not a real bug, setting scrollable is fine and I have the
behaviour I need. I will just select that my fields should all scroll.
One thing to check is what happens if a textfields gets created in a nib on
the mac and then used on gnustep.
