Follow-up Comment #1, bug #21852 (project gnustep):
I've discovered that various components have issues with encoding into .nib
files from GNUstep. They are:
* NSPopUpButton -- Causes an exception in the verificatio methods when trying
to load into IB. The problem cited there is that it is trying to find the
parent for an orphan menu. This should provide a clue to what's happening.
* NSSlider -- is not archiving properly
* NSButton -- Radio buttons are not archiving properly.
* NSTableHeader -- Appears to cause an infinite loop.
* NSMatrix -- Causes "attempt to insert nil into objects(0)" error.
* Main menu doesn't appear to be set in nib file. (this may be corrected)
