Follow-up Comment #4:
I applied a patch from Matt Rice that corrects this behaviour.
The problem with patch is that it relies on calls to super methods and this
will only work until NSCell implements setStringValue: properly to call
setObjectValue:. When this happens we will need to copy a stripped down
version of the old NSCell code to NSButtonCell.
