I just tried with one of the example applications in GNUstep that use popup
buttons and with these manual created popups the selected item gets displayed
correctly.
Could you please provide a NIB plus supporting application to demonstrate
your problem? It might well be that Apple uses different preferredEdge
settings than we do.
As for the popup being moved inside the screen this is a real problem that is
well known for some time.
I will set this bug back to normal until we have an example to reproduce it.
