Follow-up Comment #4, bug #26080 (project gnustep):
Oops! There is a small mistake in that code. It seems that the sender of the
action message should actually be the popup button, not the menu item in this
case, so the code should read:
[NSApp sendAction:[self action] to:[self target] from:self];
