With your eyample I could reproduce the problem and solve the issue of the
disappearing images. Here somehow the handling of the file wrapper must have
changed and a different place and this code was not adopted. Now with the
image handling slightly altered things look right for me.
What I could also see, but not resolve are the missing characters at the end
of the file. They get parsed correctly and set in the text storage of the text
view. Later they are gone. No idea where this is happening, maybe in the
layout process?
