Follow-up Comment #1:
This must be because you don't have the 'makeinfo' program,
so the INSTALL etc. files don't get generated, hence they
can't be installed ;-)
I made gnustep-make smarter so that it won't abort trying to
install files that don't exist, but it will print a more friendly
warning message instead, and keep going.
It now works for me both with and without makeinfo. Does it
work for you ?
