from your logs: --------------------------------- Install log for the InstallGNUstep script Arguments: --prefix=/usr/local/GNUstep Root Prefix: /usr/local/GNUstep Install Root: Source files: SVN: no gnustep-make-2.6.6 gnustep-base-1.24.6 gnustep-gui-0.24.0 gnustep-back-0.24.0 --------------------------------------------- These are old versions. You seem to be using "gnustep-startup". Do not use "gnustep-startup". It is old and is not updated to latest versions. It's main function is to catch beginners, cause them to be frustrated, and thus give up on GNUSTEP. It should be removed and all mention of it removed. I've said this before. I assume advice will be ignored. get the latest gnustep-make gnustep-base gnustep-gui gnustep-back and install them one by one in that order _______________________________________________ Bug-gnustep mailing list Bug-gnustep@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gnustep
