First of all, you should change the repo: if your system is based on Ubuntu
10.04 (not 10.4), you have to use this repo

http://ppa.launchpad.net/gnuzilla-team/ppa/ubuntu lucid main

maverick is for Ubuntu 10.10.

Install the version from lucid repo and try again.
