First of all, you should change the repo: if your system is based on Ubuntu 10.04 (not 10.4), you have to use this repo
http://ppa.launchpad.net/gnuzilla-team/ppa/ubuntu lucid main maverick is for Ubuntu 10.10. Install the version from lucid repo and try again. P.S. I'm the repo maintainer. 2011/5/12 Joerg Kohne <[email protected]> > Hi, > > Icecat is installed using Ubuntu 10.4 Repository (icecat, icecat-de). > "http://ppa.launchpad.net/gnuzilla-team/ppa/ubuntu maverick main" > (binary and source) > > An installation is not possible (==> not compatible). > "http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gnuzilla/4.0.1/privacy_ext.xpi" > > Should I better remove the Ubuntu repository and install via > gnu.org-sources?
