I too have just downloaded and compiled icecat 10. I am using opensuse
11.4. I found that installing add-ons didn't work unless I pressed the
middle mouse key instead of the left, then I saw a question about
allowing the installation which I had not seen before.
Also I was unable to find information about security updates, and
concluded in the end that none of the security updates since firefox
10.0 have been applied.
I don't think you need to uninstall, Emmanuel, I have tried three
versions and they seem to work, but I am no expert. Although if you get
errors in compilation it is better to remove everything from the source
folder.
If there is a beta version of 12.0 I will give it a test.
