I know you are talking to Narcis, but I tried again from the very
beginning and got icecat 24 compiled (in 2 hours o/).
Still have the image issue (

don't have this issue with icecat 17, and I have no idea where it comes
from..
I have a game jam this week end (Ludum Dare) so I'll have to wait until
next week to try and fix this issue; and maybe help with the packaging
if I can do anything useful.
