David, myself, and another volunteer of the Free Software Directory have discussed the idea of possibly contacting Mozilla once we've added a bunch of add-ons to the Directory. Basically the mozilla add-on site makes a lot of errors with the license information listed. It might be useful for Mozilla to make use of our more meticulous process of hand-checking licensing info on each add-on. Once we've added a lot more add-ons to the directory we can consider approaching mozilla with suggestions or ideas of ways we might be able to collaborate or coordinate. Right now we have around 50 add-ons published as packages on directory.fsf.org. In a discussion thread, I suggested that we check to see what our data looks like after we've added 200 or so add-ons and if it seems like Mozilla is continue to make a lot of mistakes then we can consider contacting them. -- Joshua Gay Licensing & Compliance Manager <http://www.fsf.org/licensing> Free Software Foundation <https://donate.fsf.org> GPG key ID: 8DA625BB What's a GPG key ID?
