Hello, Forgive my ignorance, but in trying to verify the IceCat download I am running into difficulty. I downloaded the dmg.sig file as well as the dmg file for IceCat, but am not sure that it is properly checking it with pgp for mac?
Screen shot of pgp validation result below says undefined trust…? Is this an expected result? The links on the IceCat page do not appear to point to a pgp signature/shasum file I can use to verify the download checks against? Is this available some where I am not seeing it? I am more used to using terminal to verify a download using one of the checksum commands to verify a download against the checksum on any given website being downloaded from, so maybe I need to search further for better direction on using pgp for mac to verify downloads like this.
