I've tested with no problems on armv7h and i386. Can you try to capture
some logs when the crash happens?

Oh, IceCatMobile was and is installed on the SD like every other apps
I have which offered this opportunity to be moved there.
On my other devices running Android 4.4.4 (anorher identical Xperia,
and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and a 3), I preferred not to update it yet,
waiting for a solution from the Community for this bug.
