The New Tab page in Firefox will show your most visited sites by default
and it can be a privacy issue if someone else see them. In GNU IceCat
there is no New Tab Controls on the New Tab so you cannot set it to
"Show blank page".
A workaround is to use New Tab Override
(https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-override/) to
show another page on New Tab (but you have to configure it) as
recommended by Mozilla:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/hide-or-display-sites-new-tab-page#w_disable-new-tab-controls.
Why is New Tab Controls removed from IceCat?
