I'd rather want to > avoid losing any of my profile settings. i would hope that should not have any effect but it would not hurt to try - i would suggest not deleting but simply rename your profile directory - the program will re-create a new profile when you run it - if a fresh profile does not help then you can rename your profile directory making sure it has the original name - if a fresh profile does help there are probably ways to import you old settings
