i fully agree - that is *the* issue - android is non-free software - i suggest that the root of your problem is not f-droid nor icecat; but that you are insisting on running a non-free OS but refusing to run javascript - that seems like a case of putting the cart before the horse to me -- http://gnuzilla.gnu.org
