Update of bug #12995 (project grep): Status: None => Confirmed
_______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: Thanks for the report. Unfortunately, this bug does exist in the latest stable release of GNU grep (2.5.1a). The current CVS version is ok with LC_ALL="en_US.utf8" but still exhibits the bug with non-utf8 locales. A version built by applying the current Red Hat/Fedora patches on top of 2.5.1a does not exhibit the problem. The patch which makes the difference is likely the "oi" one (patch #3807). The bug does not occur with "grep -F". _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=12995> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
