Details:
This is an updated version of the patch I submitted a year ago by email,
fixed for current CVS. I am in the process of getting FSF copyright
assignment forms for GNU grep, if that helps.
The patch adds transparent decompression via libz, activated via -Y,
--uncompress.
If this patch is accepted I'll happily provide a patch for the documentation
too; the current patch is for code only.
