Grep's been unmaintained for ages, I'm happy to see that once again
development goes on. Thanks!
Installing the brand new 2.6.2 version still often refers to older dates or
version numbers. E.g. --help shows 2009, and the man page displays the date of
2008-02-07 and the version number 2.5.1-cvs, and lists copyright years up to
2005.
Please update these numbers so that one having the new grep installed can be
totally confident that she's using a new release, and reading the
documentation belonging to the new version.
