Having succeeded in using the basic fonts, I am now trying to install a font for usage by Groff. I found this web page with a description on how to do it in a unix box. http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/articles/fonts/type1-fonts-groff.html I have installed perl for windows. However, the following errors occur when I run afmtodit C:\2zeL\5dev\gr\tryit> perl afmtodit.pl -d DESC -e text.enc cmdunh10.afm textmap cmdunh10 Array found where operator expected at afmtodit.pl line 6587, at end of line Global symbol "$lig" requires explicit package name at afmtodit.pl line 6518.
