As an extremely rough metric, groff's NEWS file added
* 53 lines (or 8 bullet points) to describe newsworthy updates for version
1.22.1,
* 19 lines (2 bullets) for version 1.22.2,
* 76 lines (9 bullets) for version 1.22.3, and
* 77 lines (10 bullets) for version 1.22.4.
Currently there are 122 lines (or 12 bullet points) describing the newsworthy
changes pending for the next release.
