Follow-up Comment #6, bug #59795 (project groff):
Attaching a patch to groff.texi. Please review.
I revised several examples to be more illustrative and/or to match actual
groff output.
Still to be done:
1. Break this up into a few of discrete commits; I found and fixed some other
(minor) problems.
2. See if any of the man pages need an update.
