Follow-up Comment #1, bug #55084 (project groff): [comment #0 original submission:] > Remove a paragraph macro ".P" that has no effect on the output.
This .P should be commented out rather than removed (and probably placed after the "NOTE:" for clarity), since it was a legitimate paragraph macro for the following text that was commented out in commit acdb173b <http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/groff.git/commit/?id=acdb173b>. (Alternatively, the entire commented-out chunk could be removed if the likelihood of that text ever being needed again seems low enough.) > Remove a space character in front of a point. The line affected by this part of the patch was removed in commit ff881784 <http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/groff.git/commit/?id=ff881784>. > Change '-' to '\-' in a name of an option. Fixed in commit f3d41a97 <http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/groff.git/commit/?id=f3d41a97>. So the only thing still relevant in this patch is dealing with the stray .P (and even that is pretty low priority, as you note it has no effect). _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?55084> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
