Details:

It would be useful to have a macro that causes me(7) to re-populate the `dw`
and `mo` strings.

This way a writer could alter the `dw` and `mo` registers mid-document, call
this macro, and those strings as well as (depending on the locale) `td` would
remain useful.

While we're at it, this macro could also take care of repopulation of the
strings I proposed in bug #61661 for the words "chapter" and "appendix".

The names `$D` and `$L` (for "date" and "localization", let's imagine) are
both available for such a macro. I lean to the latter.
