Follow-up Comment #15, bug #62040 (project groff):
Commenting out what is presently line 2251 in "m.tmac" prevents the problem
from arising.
.ds*div!\\n[ds*snr]
Unfortunately all this does is emit a diversion (the stored display); it
completely defeats the purpose of the `DS`/`DE` macros. It seems the problem
really must be in the formatter, lurking somewhere in "mtsm.cpp". :-(
