Sure, if you disable color entirely, the problem in this trivial example goes
away. But if you want color, but also want pic-preprocessed parts to not
arbitrarily change colors on you, you need a fix for this bug. The example is
minimial input to demonstrate the bug, not a real-world document I care about.
