Follow-up Comment #1:
Per bug #63827, pdfmark.ms is no longer being maintained in the groff tree;
the latest version is at
http://osdn.net/users/keith/pf/groff-pdfmark/scm/tree/tip/
If this problem exists in that latest pdfmark.ms, a ticket can be opened for
it on that site.
Keeping this bug open for now, since #63827 is still open.
