Follow-up Comment #21, bug #60930 (group groff): On the email list, Branden suggests a first step (http://lists.gnu.org/r/groff/2025-06/msg00012.html) that to me sounds like a reasonable way of getting this ticket out of limbo.
(Clerical note: I added Bertrand to the cc for maintainerly reasons per
comment #15, so removing him now as he is no longer in that role.)
