Follow-up Comment #1, bug #67929 (group groff): A "meta note": for now, reserpine.chem is the last example file of/about chem I wanted to revise and propose an improvement.
For one, this is a note to the maintainers, to safely finalize the publication
of groff 1.24.0. On the other hand, this pause on my side allows the
additional bond types in preparation by Hans Bezemer to enter the project's
git history, because indeed it would be very nice to use them for an
additional (subsequent) improvement of e.g., atp.chem for chem in groff
1.25.0.
