Follow-up Comment #14, bug #64300 (group groff): My only real interest in this issue is contained in my comment #1 remark "in general I tend to prefer seeing consistent behavior across implementations." However, I should amend that for cases (such as this may be) where other roff behavior is inexplicable enough that it's probably unintended.
I agree with comment #2 that Peter's input would be useful, but he's offered
none since being added to the cc two years ago, so I presume his interest is
even lower than mine. But I'll renew the call here just in case.
