Tricker to properly fix than I thought.
There's some weird coupling with the way `Nm`, and apparently _only_ `Nm`, at
least among _mdoc_(7) macros exercised by _groff_mdoc_(7)--which is most of
them--works.
Gonna need more gnawing time and I already have almost 60 commits queued up
for pushing.
