Follow-up Comment #1, bug #68309 (group groff): Hmm, according to my tests, this has been broken since _groff_ 1.22.4, almost 8 years ago!
I tried the following input document with each _groff_ release since (and
including) 1.22.3. Only 1.22.3 formatted as expected.
