Follow-up Comment #3, bug #29697 (project grub):
I've attached a revision of my patch
(grub-1.98-follow-dev-mapper-symlinks.patch). I removed the call to realpath()
and used stat() instead of lstat().
I bodged the attachment comment. My finger slipped.
