Subject: grub: Docs don't mention use of stage1_lba
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Package: grub
Version: 0.5.93.1
Severity: normal
I have a new 20G drive. Installing grub for the first time, I
followed the instructions and used stage1. When I tried to boot, I
(understandably) got a Geom Error since it's a large drive. I had noticed
there was a stage1_lba and tried it out. Worked fine. I already knew
grub supported large disks (which is why I am now using it) but I missed
this the first time because the docs make no mention of needing a
different stage1 file in such a situation.
